Submission Guidelines

All forms of art are acceptable to submit--photography, painting, mixed media, sculpture, crafts, etc.
All submissions must be in the form of a photograph (color or black and white) or an image file (.GIF or .JPEG only). The higher quality the better. Excellent work may not be accepted if the quality is poor. We can not use slides.
Submissions (images and artist information) can be sent via regular mail or email (please attach the images—no more than three with one email).
There is a $10 non-refundable submission processing fee. This is the only cost associated with eGallery. If your work is accepted, there are no additional costs to having your work displayed in the eGallery site—even if your work is accepted for the eGallery Permanent Collection. If you would like your photographs returned, you should include a self-addressed, stamped envelope and we will gladly return them to you.
Each submission must include your
full name,
email, personal web site and/or regular address,
your Artist/Personal Statement,
the title of the work,
size (height and width),
materials used,
year created and
price (in US$) if you are interested in selling it (you do not have to provide a price if you don't want to sell it).
If your work is accepted, we will install it into the eGallery Exhibition (there is one each quarter), provide a hyperlink to your Personal/Artist Statement and to your email and/or web site.
All pieces may be purchased by interested buyers on-line through eGallery. You will receive 80% of your purchase price. Each artist will also be responsible for shipping the pieces (because you will know how valuable it is), so please remember to incorporate these costs and price your pieces accordingly.
Any work received by March 15, 1999 will be considered for the eGallery Permanent Collection. If your work is accepted for the eGallery Permanent Collection, your piece will be displayed along with the other permanent pieces in eGallery rather than in the rotating Exhibitions. During the first year you will be ineligible for consideration for Exhibits, Contests and the Featured Artist in an effort to increase the diversity of artists and work. If your work is accepted into the eGallery Permanent Collection you will still be able to sell it, if you so choose.
If you are submitting work for one of our Exhibition Contests, the same submission rules apply. One artist will be chosen for each Exhibition and will be the Featured Artist for the quarter (three months) until the next Exhibition. The Featured Artist will be able to show up to 5 pieces of their work displayed in their own room in eGallery. Approximately 15 pieces will also be chosen to make up the Exhibition itself and will remain up until the next Exhibition. Once you have been accepted into an eGallery Exhibition you will be ineligible for consideration for another Exhibition for one year.
During each Exhibition, visitors will be able to vote for their favorite pieces. The top 5 pieces voted by eGallery visitors will then be moved to the eGallery Special Exhibition Hall and will become a permanent member of eGallery.
For information on our judges, please see our web site.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Giokazta Molina, Director of Collections.
